The new 8.03 fixed this for me.
ASRock X58 Extreme3 mobo, Intel Core i7, 12 GB RAM, Win 7 64, WD Black drives (multiple), Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 (FireWire), Dual Acer monitors with NVidia GeForce 9400 (DVI), M-Audio Axiom 49 keyboard, DP 8.03.

NO ! installed 8.0.3 and still have the same problem ! try to exit and the program is not responding ! any ideas ?

ok i did something and it worked ! kill the motu_zeroconf service ! now it seems to work fine

no i have another problem, graphics are slow and glitchy !

8.0.3 seems to have fixed the hanging on exit issue for me. The installer was painfully slow (needs work in the speed department), but it quits quickly and consistently now.
My one most significant problem with DP is the size of the text and GUI elements - way too tiny for 24" HD displays and long days in the studio keeping a healthy distance (20-30") from the screens.
