I like to dig deep - zoom in and tweak my MIDI and I'm finding when I command click a MIDI note to move it ever so slightly it will intermittently not move unless I go a full 16th click. I may only want to move the note a tick or two but the note bounces back to it's original position when I release the command key and mouse. This never happened in v6 or 8.0.1 that I recall. I'm learning to deal with it but it gets a bit frustrating at times and kills the work flow - for me anyway. Am I missing a setting or could this be a tweak MOTU needs to address?
Help appreciate,
mvh

Re: MIDI edit concern
You probably know this-- the command key reverses the status of the grid enable/disable. I usually leave the grid on, and hold down command for selecting and for free-dragging. Just wanted to make sure you continue to hold down command while you drag.
That said, I have noticed this bug (or similar) starting several versions ago (v5? v6?)- where selection and dragging doesn't always work as it should (as you describe). I made some noise about it, but I don't recall getting any useful or meaningful response. Not sure if this is the same bug you were describing, either way-- yes, it IS frustrating.
In 7.24, now when a single note is selected, if I select a 2nd note, the first note stays selected (also frustrating).
DP is a fantastic program, and I don't take it for granted, but some things that were really important to my workflow worked better in older versions-- got broken in more recent versions-- but --so many other things got better.

Re: MIDI edit concern
Thanks Stub, I am holding the command key and releasing the mouse first. I'm getting things done but it's a small bug or tweak MOTU needs to address. I do leave the grid on and I've changed the grid settings to see if that may be the culprit. I'm doing nothing different so it must be a software code issue.
Thanks again,
