Hi, everyone
This is my first post. I hope you can help...
DP 8.02 will not record Ivory II ( update 2.1.1)
Here's what I've done so far:
1. set DP to open in 32 bit mode
2. added a MIDI track, recorded MIDI data and assigned output to Ivory - I find it odd that DP MIDI data will trigger Ivory to play but DP won't host Ivory to record audio
3. Added an instrument track, selected Ivory and assigned output to bus 1 & 2
4 Play enabled MIDI track and instrument track, highlighted both tracks and selected
" FREEZE SELECTED TRACKS" - the resulting freeze track has no audio waveform.
5. Added a stereo audio track, assigned input to Bus 1& 2 and output to MAC's Main outs and recorded on the audio track with MIDI triggering Ivory --
no audio waveform is recorded. I tried to play it back in case I haven't had tracks in a correct view mode, whatever that could be...
6. Set DP to 64 bit mode and repeated 2- 5.
I reinstalled Ivory - the library is on a TB drive - I updated to 2.1.1 after the reinstall
anyone have any idea what I have overlooked?
Thanks very much

You can always route Ivory to an Aux Bus & set that Bus as Input to an audio track, then record real time.
