I just grew tired of waiting for IK to update SampleTank to 64 bit and decided after hours of researching Machfive 3 to jump on board. Excited. : )

Nope, just the price. Same box and product. Oh, BTW, if you already own the plug sound banks (Extreme FX and whatever else they have on the disc from MOTU) you don't need to reinstall these. Use the ones already installed, otherwise you're just duplicating several GB of data needlessly.

C'mon and vist us again after you're done playing with the IRCAM stuff. Great tools and great to play with. Making a patch by freezing any sound (including orchestra chords, etc) is just too much fun and damn useful. Speed adjustments of audio files are amazing. If you haven't already subscribed or checked out the MOTU YouTube channel videos, nows a good time.

One word... GRANULAR!

Well, I'm actually finding my way around quite well. I couldn't get Kontakt or Kurzweil samples to load. (Suppose I should read the manual huh...) Managed to load apple loops and playing around with the factory stuff. Not that hard to figure out if you know samplers and how they function. (Watched a few videos which helped) I wish it would load my SampleTank files - (I have tons - Oh well) I'll have to pull it out now and then I suppose. Laid down my first M5 track tonight - I'll post it up when It's completed. It's been a great day. Cheers
