DP crashing after OS update and Ethno installation

Hi All,
I just wanted to post the results of my "clean install".

I took everyone's advice and did a total "clean install" of my OS and all my software.

After each new installation of software and also after any upgrade was performed I ran Repair Disk Permissions. It took me a full day with no interruptions to do the clean install and software install. I was also fortunate to have all my serial numbers and keys handy for my software. This made things a lot easier.

Also, as was mentioned in an earlier reply, MOTU Ethno was the cause of my crash. I did NOT try to install it after my clean install. I would need to purchase the newer Ethno Instrument in order to work on OS10.6.8

I'm VERY happy to say that my entire computer is running smooth and my DP has never worked better!!!!!!!!!

I thank each and everyone of you for all your helpful advice!!!!!!!!

There is one strange little issue in DP right now........... I am able to save settings for my Dynamics, Verb, MW Compressor, et cetera HOWEVER, it will not save any settings for my MWEquilizer. I also noticed that when I open the MWEquilizer it doesn't have a user presets folder like it used to and like all my other plug-ins have.

Any thoughts???
