I recently upgraded from DP7 to DP8 and for some reason now all my MIDI devices are greyed out under my "output" listings in the Track window. I can't seem to figure out what to do to get them back. All I have MIDI-wise is a KX-88 keyboard controller (port 1), TG77 tone generator (port 3), and U220 sound module (port 2) - all connected through a MOTU MIDI Express XT and an 828mkII.
What do I need to do?!
Thanks!

Re: Devices Greyed Out After Upgrade to DP8
I'd start by checking the Apple Audio-MIDI setup app to make sure all is well in there. Also be sure to repair permissions.

@ what MLC said.
I've done upgrades once or twice and had to redo(reconnect the virtual wires) in the Audio/MIDI setup.
Should be an easy fix.

Even reconfiguring didn't solve the problem so I contacted MOTU tech support and they suggested unplugging the MIDI Express USB cable and plugging into another USB port to make it "reassign" itself (or something like that!) - did the trick!
