Here's a new one for me. When I try to select a MIDI PATCH or MIDI DEFAULT PATCH, it simply says "No Patches". I'm using 7.24. I couldn't find anything in the manual about it. For the heck of it, I fired up my old Pizmo with DP 3 & brought up some old projects...... it worked fine.
Has anybody else encountered this ?? I really don't want to go through uninstalling & reinstalling again. After doing an uninstall, you still have to hunt for stuff it missed & delete it yourself. This is driving me nuts (OK, more nuts).
It was kind of fun seeing patches named (I had Unisyn then & didn't do the upgrade since it should have been free), and the progress bar which I still miss when playing live.
Anyway, any help would be much appreciated !!!!!

Re: No PATCH or DEFAULT PATCH
You're wanting the default patch lists (not something created in Unisyn) for the outboard gear, correct? If so, have you selected the correct manufacturer and model for your MIDI devices in AMS (Audio MIDI Setup)? If that's correct are they mapped to the correct devices in your session (DP Menu --> Studio --> Remap MIDI Devices)?

Re: No PATCH or DEFAULT PATCH
Thanks for the reply NazRat. Yes, to all 3 of your questions. I've also repaired permissions & ran the hardware test (the long one, passed). I uninstalled then reinstalled DP, and then the patches were back, but the audio inputs would only give me "Built In Mic" or bus. I did this several times & one or both of the problems would be the result.
I may have messed up on the reinstall. I'm running 7.24. Do I need to start out with my 7.01 install disc and then do all the updates to 7.24 ?? I've tried installing with the disc & then 7.24u, and also just the 7.24u. The result have obviously sucked.
I had also installed some new plugins pror to this. Could they be causing the problems ?
I also wonder if my hard drive is messed up even though disc utilities says it's OK.
This crap is definately knocking the wind out of my sails. I'm dead in the water.
