Long shot but RME ADI-8pro & Motu 828mk2 ADAT routing
I know it 's a long shot that anyone uses this combination. But if anyone does I attempting to run (using only the ADAT connections) Roland MV8800 > RME ADI-8pro > Motu 828mk2 > Cakewalk Sonar PE6 > windows Xp sp3. I just got this motu so I'm trying to learn how it functions and more importantly how to understand the routing of the unit. I also just got the RME and trying to learn it tho it seems pretty straight forward.

So I removed the RME for now and just have the MV8800 adat i/o > motu adat o/i channel 10 output > Mlti 1/2... When I start the sequence it just gives me static the rhythm of the pattern but in static?
