The above examples don't look particularly complex to me... Yet, we see those timing errors :?

We need to define "complex".

In my case, I can always recreate some kind of timing or "laziness bug" (forgets automation) with BTD or Freeze when at least the following is true:
- Sequence has a moderately busy Conductor Track
- Anything with more than 20-30 audio tracks (each with EQ and Trim)
- At least 4-5 submix aux tracks with EQ or a little compression

That's it!
In my book, that is standard easy breezee stuff, but apparently DP thinks it's already too complex. :smash:

That's why I don't even bother anymore when I use my big templates. Any of those would GUARANTEE all kinds of weirdness and unreliability.

I'm defining the complexity in the VI, not in the number of tracks. I don't necessarily blame DP on bounce errors on a VI that has lots of samples and triggers and release samples, etc. It always those that are a problem. Simple plain vanilla playback patches never seem to be a problem.

You mean like DP's native VIs? You can't get less complex than that...

I hope we won't have to sort this out by VI brand. It would be never-ending.

Well, True Keys loads into the UVI player as well as MachFive, and they both suffer from bad bouncing. Si I mean it is instrument specific, not VI specific, per se. My slide guitar, which only loads in Kontakt 5 is also sample heavy with complex scripting and I get the feeling the scripting is the heart of the problem.

I see.

I wonder if this is an "interpretation" problem or a simple timing problem.

For instance, if you select the misplaced SBs and invoke the "move to original SBs" command, does it make a difference?

I'm just curious of how deep this goes. If nothing happens then it means the time stamp is also wrong, but if it moves them to where they should...

I'd test this for myself, but I will be home for a few more days feeling miserable with this terrible flu and high temperature. I feel like craaaaaap! :(

Aaaaaaaaaaatschuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! Careful with the viruses!

Thanks for the good wishes, guys!

Today I feel at 60%. Hopefully I'll recover completely by this Friday.

And hopefully MOTU will rid DP of those strange Freezing viruses we've been talking about too.

It seems DP also got a cold from the freezing stuff...
