Daisy Chain - 828 + 828 + 8pre +8pre

Hi,

I have daisy chained my 828mk3 with 2 8pre's to get 24 (26 with front inputs) channels @ 48KHz, and I want to increase my channels up to 32 (36 with front inputs).
I refer to lightpipe connections.
Can I successfully cascade out of primary 828 into 2nd 828 + 8pre, and cascade out of 2nd 828 into other 8pre?
I can physically achieve the connections obviously, but how will that work within interface control software and cuemix?

All help appreciated.
