DP8 re-sizing in sequence editor
Has anyone noticed when you grab the track with the little hand the wave will not re-size unless you move it slightly left of the meter? The hand comes up but doesn't really do anything. (My 1st little bug found - other than that working flawlessly so far)
I bet this has most likely been discussed : )

Re: DP8 re-sizing in sequence editor
It's one a "several" GUI issues DP8 needs to have resolved. You'd think that the GUI is the highest priority for programmers, but apparently not so much in this version.
Fortunately for you, DP 8 is closer than for the first adopters. I know that MOTU is aware of the GUI difficulties. All we can do is wait for the next update so we can find something else to moan about.

Re: DP8 re-sizing in sequence editor
I've been in DP8 for about 8-10 hours a day non-stop for about 3 weeks now. This version has really changed the way I work, especially the Consolidated Window, which I hated before. Now I can't work without it. The next update should fix a lot of this stuff and be a killer release for MOTU. Can't wait to see what they'll come up with for DP9 and DP X.

I love the consolidated window (been using in dp6 for a while) and with dual monitors I put the mixer on it's on monitor and it works very well for me. 10 hour a day non stop - my eyes & ears would get pretty slapped around.

Re: DP8 re-sizing in sequence editor
I am feeling a little slapped around, but it's a long-ish term project for about a dozen short (silent) films for a broadcast project. DP makes that sooooo easy on the technical side, leaving much more time to ponder the question: what comes next musically? THat, and not worrying about the DAW makes all the difference.
