Performance Expectations?
Hello,
Thinking about finally making the upgrade to version 3. I know my old power PC G5 is a no go. I've been doing quite well with everything on my laptop, a 13" mid 2009 dual core 2.3 Macbook Pro (8G RAM). I'm wondering if M53 will be usable on this setup. I plan on moving to a new Mac Pro when they are eventually given a proper update. In the meantime, any thoughts? Should I just hold off?

Re: Performance Expectations?
My initial reaction is if you want to use a fair amount of instruments in M5 you will want to incest in some additional RAM. As far as ML, M5 seems to be running just fine in and out of DP.

Re: Performance Expectations?
I knew what you meant MLC
As far as my current system, it's maxed out at 8G of RAM. I might just go ahead and jump and see how it goes. I plan on getting an updated Mac Pro.... eventually.

No, not even a crude troll thing. Just the new Safari and OS in cahoots to bring down the MLC franchise empire.
