Very strange.
I make a 2:59 sec jazz gtr piece for a tv spot.
I use the counter time in DP with the file starting at exactly bar 1.
I cut off the end of the file at 2:59.23 according to DP’s real time counter.
I then look in the Sound file info window and it shows the sound file as 3:04.33.
When I look in the Soundbites window, it shows as 2:59.23
What?
Why is the DP and soundbites time different than the sound file information pane?

Maybe something to do with the new punch guard feature. Look at how many seconds you have set for pre and post in preferences.
Sorry, just saw in your sig you're at DP 7.x - wouldn't be a punch guard thing.

Oh yeah, i forgot about that! Yikes.NazRat wrote:Maybe something to do with the new punch guard feature. Look at how many seconds you have set for pre and post in preferences.

Some “guard”..lol
That was it, well done, nice helping mano!
Never thought of that.
Personally, though perhaps one day it might save my booty, I guard my own punching without such automated thing-a-ma-bobs.....
i.e., I always leave a little room for Jello in my punches.
