No MIDI signal in Steven Slate Drums 4, from Ddrum 4se

Post by rhayes »

I have played drums for 25 years, acoustically and have had some experience in recording in various versions of DP. However, I am disgustingly new to MIDI and am trying to wrap my head around it. Here's my dilemma: I have DP 7 (purchased approx 3 weeks ago) and Steven Slate Drums 4, as well as a Ddrum 4se module. I'm trying to trigger my acoustic/electric kits through DP7 for recording AND live performance. I have, to this point, been able to get my Ddrum Module MIDI signal to trigger on CH 1 of the MIDI monitor in DP7, but cannot seem to get my signal to SSD4. SSD4 works fine inside DP7, in terms of triggering off of the plugin itself, but I can't seem to get my module to trigger SSD4. I have all MIDI notes assigned as they should be, inside the Ddrum module and have all of my MIDI setting correct, I think, inside DP7. I am using am M-Audio UNO two MIDI to usb, in line interface. I am running a Macbook Pro 17" 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5 w 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3 ram. This is a 64 bit machine.
I can't seem to find any info on this issue anywhere. I have gone through the DP7 manual and my Ddrum manual, as well. Any ideas?
