Hi everyone,
when I use my MOTU Ultralite mk3, sometimes (I don't know why...) the output levels (main 1-2, analog 1-2, 3-4, etc...) that where entering my third part mixer at a perfect line level, are getting subitely very low as if someone twicked the levels or switch a -20 db pad.
As I found no way to control the individual outputs levels in cuemix (if you do not use the monitor), I do not know how to make these levels high again... Note that in cuemix "meters" window, I see that the output levels are very low, so it is really not an external sound link problem.
I don't know what trigger this problem, but I know that when I switch off and back on the MOTU, the outputs volumes reset to their normal 'high' levels.
Does anyone know how to change these volume ? (note that I do not use the monitor to listen to the sound, nor the monitor volume knob).
Thanks for you help.
Dave

Re: Ultralite mk3 hybrid low outputs volume problem
I adjust the final output volume using the Dynamics - Leveler.
1. I enable Dynamics on the Output I'm using.
2. I enable the Leveler on the MK3, either using CueMix FX, or on the hardware.
3. I set the Limiter to 'Limit' mode.
4. I set 'Gain Reduction' to zero.
5. I set 'Makeup Gain' so that my Outputs Meter shows peaks of -3db to -2db.

Re: Ultralite mk3 hybrid low outputs volume problem
I get that too occasionally binbin.
Had my Ultralite for 3 years now and I've never been able to detect a pattern or isolate a particular cause.
I think it must be driver related because closing and restarting any and all audio software has no effect and neither does cycling the Ultralite. Needs a reboot to reset. I think there is probably a way to reload the MOTU USB drivers without rebooting but I don't know what it is.
