Motu microbook ii / direct monitoring cubase 5

Hi guys,

I am new to this forum and this my first post.
I have a question. I am trying to get direct monitoring in Cubase but it is greyed out I can not check the box. I am already using Microbook ii in cubase for the out. I use headphone no monitors at the moments.

Any idea how I can get direct monitoring? I want to hear my self singing when I am recording and have dry recording in Cubase then I will process and add effects to it.
