Suddenly the Pointer will not change into another tool, won’t trim, won’t fade, etc. It just selects like the I-Beam. I thought it was some weird mode I accidentally went into but then I realized the Trim tool won’t work either. It also behaves just like the I-Beam.
I’ve now restarted, tried another session, and unplugged my keyboard in case it was a sticky modifier key (although I don’t know what that would be).
I’ve found that it works sometimes if I click several times fast.
Anyone?

To answer my own question; It’s the cursor selection mode that I was playing around with the other day. I didn’t realize this would affect audio this way and the manual doesn’t really say that as far as I can tell.
Strange that it seemed to work normally a couple of times first, and would work if I clicked multiple times quickly.
