For anyone using HS and DP, have you been able to get the portamento control feature to work? I've tried following the manual, using the specified controllers, experimenting with their placement and values, etc., but nothing seems to make this feature work predictably and consistently. Sometimes I get no portamento at all; sometimes a note slides down to the note rather than up to it from the preceding lower note. Sometimes the timing of the affected note is delayed. It just seems that it's almost impossible to make this work correctly.
Are there known issues with Hollywood Strings, Play, and Digital Performer? I've put in a support request to EastWest, so I'm hoping someone can offer some insight about this issue.
I'm using DP 7.24 and Play version 3.0.32. (I just checked and there's a Play update I'll install.)
Thanks!
Richard

Issues with Play? Yes, there are. It's been buggy from its inception,
and although some issues have been dealt with, I think there are still
a number of bugs.
This is definitely a question for EastWest tech support. It's not DP because
you'll find the same problems with Play in other DAW's.
Hope they answer your tech question soon..

I've got HS Diamond.
And I have not heard back from EastWest.
