Importing OMF into DP

Post by wentzelwerks »

I was wondering whether anyone knows if it is possible to import an OMF file into an existing DP7 file, perhaps as a new sequence. From what I have read in the manual it only refers to opening an OMF as a new, separate DP file. In my case the OMF file represents multi-tracked elements that I wish to use in an existing composition.

Thanks for any light you can shed on this!

Open it in its own project then "Load" into your existing project and copy and paste as needed.
If there's a better way, I'd be interested in that too.

I think you can drag it onto the DP icon or from the file menu select OPEN.

Or drag it to the chunks window in an existing project and it will create a new sequence.
