Hi,
Anyone here managed to use a Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter together with the MOTU 8Pre?

This has been addressed in other threads. MOTU's answer is that it doesn't work. I don't think anyone has proved them wrong on this.

Don't know about the 8Pre, but it works on the 828mk3 hybrid.
