Hey All,

I'm in! I just decided at the (relatively) last minute to attend NAMM this year. Hope to meet some of you at the MOTU dinner!

I miss going to the show, and specifically this dinner. NAMM started making me jump through too many hoops to get a press pass (not a NAMM member, but I work in television) The first few years were no problem, but lately, just too much hassle. Add to that the fact that a lot of the companies I looked forward to visiting at the show stopped going (except MOTU of course) :D

If you're thinking about going and never have, I highly recommend it! I'll toss back a couple margaritas in honor of the event. Someone take pics!

Next year, with a little luck I should be stateside, and with a myriad AK Airline miles. I will be there. But I promised my girl I'd take her down to Washington state this year though. If I disappeared to Burbank I'd never hear the end of it!

Maybe we should drive down there, hold JS down and make him play a non-pointy gitbox? I've got my Ventura guitar from 1972 I could bring... LOL!

Well it's official. I will not be making it this year. Way too much hassle for me to see the show in my condition. Maybe next year...

I'm going to be at NAMM that Friday, so if I stay there late enough I'll try to make it by. I usually get a throbbing headache after about 3 hours from sensory overload! But the dinner sounds like fun!

Hey, I just wanted to thank Jim for putting this together. What a fun, great hang! Wonderful to meet so many cool MOTU users. Great talks with Edouard, Jim, Les, Brian and everybody else! And hoo boy, those margaritas! That was an interesting drive back up to Burbank!!

This was my first MOTU/NAMM dinner but hopefully not the last! Thanks again.

Well Frank, if you're going to be driving back (and I can snag a pass for NAMM next year) I'll be the designated drunk. Or else you can work the pedals and I'll steer. :)
