It seems much slower now in 8, though I haven't really tested. I'm not complaining, it's till better than realtime, but just wondering if motu changed anything, like "to make it sound better the bouncing process is more precise and complex so you might find it slower compared to previous versions" Am I making myself feel better now?

The smaller the buffer, the slower the bounce. Don't know if you know this. Check that out. 128 is slow, 512 is good, 1024 is fastest. I usually leave it at the default 512 (unless if I am playing VI's).
