Herky jerky windows (Resolved… sort of)
Hi All:
Suddenly, using the scroll bar and resizing windows is not smooth anymore, but very herky jerky. Anyone have any idea why this might be happening?
Thanks

Done all except reinstall DP. Not sure how to do that; do I have to throw away stuff first or just go over the top, so to speak.kgdrum wrote:Have you done the usual things like repairs permissions, rebooted the Mac or reinstalled DP?
Yes it's in any project, but I noticed this; the more graphical information there is in the window, the worse it is. I was in the Sequence Editor window and when there are many soundbites showing it's quite bad. Move to a place where there arent any, or resize the window so that they cant be seen, and scrolling and resizing become smooth. Similarly, a crowded Event List window with lots of info is very herky jerky when resizing and scrolling, but an empty one resizes smoothly. Thanks for your thoughts.
Nothing else behaves this way (crowded Safari windows, for example).
Weird, huh?

I take it back...some of it. I'm working in a crowded SE window right now that behaves fine. So it's intermittent....sigh, love those kinds of weirdnesses.
