Hey guys,
I just recently purchased a new laptop and i'm going absolute nuts. I have a motu 828mk2 device and having usb3 with ivy bridge and all the bells and whistles in the new laptop (asus g55vw).
For some reason after 3 reinstals the system is not working. I tried every single possible troubleshooting steps, new cable, disabling every possible device in bios, mmc console with error analysis, usb 2.0 hub, everything and all i could get is that as soon as some music starts i can hear it for 1 sec and beep than the soundcard is gone and the whole system freezes.
Any idea what i could do? I have the latest drivers 55333.

The MOTU probably just doesn't like the 3.0 port.
Things to do:
1) Update laptop bios to newest.
2) Update laptop USB 3.0 firmware to newest.
3) Update chipset drivers to newest.
4) Update all other drivers, especially other USB peripheral drivers to newest.

thanks man, gonna try to fish around for generic intel chipset drivers and for all the rest of the stuff i can find. I very much hope that it could be fixed as I just love this device and dont want to sell it.
