New iMac and DP8...

I've just pre-ordered a new 27inch, i7 iMac with a 1 tb fusion drive as a Christmas present for DP8.01 :wink:

My current 6 year old iMac has served me well, but I'm looking forward to the extra performance and in particular how DP gets on with the Fusion drive...and for that matter Mountain Lion.

I have also ordered a Thunderbolt adapter to connect my Focusrite Saffire Pro40 to the Mac.

A few new variables to deal with, but I can't wait (delivery December 27th)!

I will of course keep the forum posted of any issues / benefits etc.

It's been a bit of a wait for DP8 and then the iMac....I'm sure it will all be worth it :)
iMac 27inch (2012), 3.4Ghz i7, 8 Gig RAM, 1Tb Fusion Drive, OS 10.8.2. DP8, Mach5 V2, Various Waves Plugs. Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Adam A7X.

That's a bold move with a new Mac. Hope it works out well.

Move your old DP projects over via Time Machine or Migration Assistant - or your whole system - and you'll be fine.
