Stuck 'Fine bar'

The 'Fine bar' tool in the Arrangement Palette allows one to place a final bar (thick and thin line) at the end of the last bar (measure) of one's music in Quickscribe view.

I've inserted a 'Fine bar', but now I want to move it, and I can't. It won't budge beyond a certain bar in the middle of the piece. I've tried selecting the tool and clicking again on the placed 'Fine bar', but it doesn't disappear.

I can shift it to earlier in the piece, but not to later.

How do remove and/or shift the 'Fine bar'?
