I just finished watching the advanced DP 8 videos. I sort of already know most of what is in them, but the way they are organized and presented, along with the occasional gem that shows up, made them well worth the effort.

Especially the Drum Editor video. I wish that had been around a year or so ago when I plodded my way for hours through the manual trying to figure that out.

This all got me wondering if I ought to get the basic videos too. For those who already know their way around DP, were these helpful?

Bayswater, for me the DP 8 Explained gained me most of these two. It changed my workflow very drasticly in a good way. Go 'n Get!!!

I've heard a hundred studio guys who sound just like that. I guess it doesn't bother me, being from Texas and all, but I can sure see why people from other parts of the country/world might not like it.

I think he's great! Energetic, funny, to-the-point, and a good teacher. I don't like him well enough to learn Logic, though. :lol:
