Anyone use an Argosy console with a Monitor arm/mount/swivel

I have a large Argosy console and a 30inch apple cinema display.

The console site SO high and the screen even higher. I'm looking for an option to attach my screen to a swivel arm/mount to be able to move the monitor down and closer to my eyes.

Has anyone successfully done this without tearing their console apart?

here's a pict of the control room. as you can see, the monitor on the argosy desk (in the rear) sits up way too high).

I think you could fabricate something pretty easily with a VESA mount. I've been using a mount for years, but have not explored a solution that drops the bottom edge of the monitor below the mount point. I say Google is yer friend!
