Yep, I did some bouncing tests today with JBridge and UAD plugins!
Works like a charm, sample and sound correct :)

BTW Experienced another problem free DP8.01 day in the studio today. :)
Did you bounce offline or in real time? I know you can bounce in real time and the bridge is fine but the normal DP bounce or offline bounce is when I get into trouble every time!!!!

went for jBridge! ;-)

A bit confusing setting up but once it's installed pretty damn cool!!

Nice to be back in 64bit and see my UAD,SoundToys,AAS etc.... ;-)

Must read the jbridge info more don't understand dirty mode(but instinctually I like it anyway, must be all of the sump water) ;-)

I didn't load Sampletank,or the other IK laggers as I think I remember others saying they couldn't get IK(32)stuff running with this, can anyone verify yeah or nay?
Or any other VI's or plugs that are problematic with jbridge and DP8.01 64bit.

Also went back to using 2 monitors and seeing how that goes.......

Thanks,
KG

Okay so here's my wacky (yet hopeful) question for this bridge thing. Can the VST versions of soundtoys read our custom presets that we created for our beloved AU echoboy? I imagine the answer is "no". But pleeeease let it be yes. I dont know how we would recreate all of them in VSTs?

MLC, your template is a helluva lot more interesting than mine. Machine guns, birds, horse sounds, typewriter, gunshots… That's a nice bunch of instruments! I guess you're doing the foley, sound design, and everything. Beats my violins and flutes. hehehe…

Labman re: Echoboy, that's 1 plug I don't have.
If this helps I loaded a project that had AAS String Machine, all of the presets were there, stock and purchased(haven't rolled my own) with that VI.......
The preset I used previously is there but it didn't load I'd have to find the preset and load it again(been a while,I'm not even sure which it was, lol)
I don't know if all plugs and VI's presets have to be reloaded in projects but for me it's no big deal as the presets seem to be all there, but I've just started using it and might be wrong, time will tell.....
But jbridge is so far, very, very good !!
I just found NI B4 and that also works!

Now I have to hunt down some plugs and VI's I didn't install as VST's .

For me jbridge is a $13 NoBrainer ;-)

Update: Been working 8+ hours/day 4 days in a row with DP8.01.
Job: Heavy editings, pitching, time adjusts, premix editings and fixes on large audio projects .

The verdict: NO CRASH NOR ANY SPINNING BALLS, no hick ups, nothing bad to report, only good news.

JBridged plug-ins bounces are working like a charm and I conclude that DP8.01 is damn stable and rock solid in my studio system.

Tomorrow first recording sesion in DP8.01.

I´m still very very very happy :D

Has anyone tried going between 32 and 64 bit DP? It made a right mess of my UAD plug-ins. They stopped loading in 32bit despite the vst versions being deactivated.

I avoid going between DP 8.01 32 and 64 bit and DP 7.24 as I believe, after reading many posts here, this is crucial to system stability.
Stick with one or the other.
Just my impression and reflection.

Hey Patricia... Is the bridged version of sound toys reading your custom echoboy or soundtoys presets properly? Thanks.

Uninstall and reinstall DP and start all over again, might help...
