Display multiple plug-in interfaces?

Is there any way to display multiple plug-in interfaces simultaneously in DP8?

Do you mean plug-in windows? Just double click their name in the mixing board insert and there you go. But I'm probably misunderstanding your question.

I realize I can double click on a plug-in to open its window. However, when I click on a second plug-in, the first window closes. Is there any way to display two more more windows simultaneously?

I often leave many plugins opened in various "Spaces" or "Desktops." Spaces is the word chosen by Apple originally to represent their virtual monitors. You can have many, many of them. Even as many as 9 is not a problem. Mission Control is the System Preference where you find reference to Spaces. I switch to the space I want by way of Control-1, Control-2, etc. Also you can use Control-ArrowKeys.

You have to distribute the plugins to the spaces where you want them. Do this by invoking Mission Control (F1 for me), and drag the windows to the spaces in the upper margin. There, they can remain open indefinitely.

If you are asking for a way of making one command open many plugins simultaneously, I do not know of way.

The window is not closing. When you click on the Mixing Board, it comes to the foreground and hides the previously opened plugin.

Learn how to use Mission Control, Spaces, and/or Exposé to see all the windows that are currently open. You merely have to assign keyboard commands to them, or use the defaults, to invoke some of Apple's most useful OS X features.
