Upgrading to Mach Five 3.1.2 DP doesn't see it

Here's an interesting problem!
I installed my Mach Five 3.01 on my 8 Core Mac Pro and it worked fine.
I installed the update 3.1.2 and I can't see it in the instruments in DP 7.24
I can see my older version of Mach Five 2.
MachFive 3.1.2 plays as a stand-alone, so it's in there.
Any ideas?

In the Instruments drop-down menu, is there a MOTU folder for MOTU instruments? Could it be hiding in there?

Thanks for replying Stephen, actually no, there's no folder for MOTU. The instruments are listed individually. The older version of MachFive 2 shows up.
I tried reinstalling the original 3.0.1 version from disk and it still doesn't show up.

got the same problem – only machfive2 shows as a plug-in in dp 7.24
