DP 8-32bit on my machine isn't running very well totally spiking the cpu which I have seen quite a few posts of people having the same problem. 64 bit version works fine though and I would love to use it except certain plugs I like are still 32 bit.David Polich wrote:Regarding using VEPro5 to run audio to plug-ins - okay, I can see this
need if you want to run in 64-bit mode and run some legacy 32-bit plug-ins.
If you're running DP8 in 32-bit mode, there is absolutely no reason to
use the Input Event plug-in to run audio into plug-ins in VEPro 5.
Even older Intel Mac Pros should be able to run plenty of plug-ins in DP8
without need of a bridge.
Very funny James!!!James Steele wrote:Bennie Sims wrote:And in Logic Pro the bridge works perfectly.
I'm sure it works generally, but from what I hear, there's been a lot of buzz about it being sketchy and not working for everything. Which is okay... hard to expect it to be perfect. Still, I don't believe MOTU is obligated to pick up the slack for plug-in developers that don't keep up, or provide a solution for companies that have gone out of business. A bridge is nice, but I don't think any DAW developer is obligated to provide one and that's certainly not a make-or-break issue IMHO.Bennie Sims wrote:Very funny James!!!James Steele wrote:Bennie Sims wrote:And in Logic Pro the bridge works perfectly.I do hate Logic but the bridge does work!!
I'm having the opposite experience - DP8 working fine in 32-bit (and 64, even though I normally use it in 32-bit) on both my Quadcore 2010 MacProBennie Sims wrote:DP 8-32bit on my machine isn't running very well totally spiking the cpu which I have seen quite a few posts of people having the same problem. 64 bit version works fine though and I would love to use it except certain plugs I like are still 32 bit.David Polich wrote:Regarding using VEPro5 to run audio to plug-ins - okay, I can see this

Does anyone know if either works with the Antares EVO plugins?VEPro 5 works great as a bridge. Forget JBridge, get VEPro 5. You won't
regret it.

With the new version, I've been able to get all Crysonic, PSP, and a few older 32 bit plugins working. Among the Korg legacy plugins, Wavestation and MDE-X are working, but M1 is not. For IKM, CSR Hall and Sampletank 2 are working, but Philharmonik, SampleTron, and SonikSynth are not.
I've provided João with additional crash reports, and hope to get the rest of the VIs working.
