If you bought a Mac with Lion on it, the grace period began June 11, 2012. I do not know if that applies to your Lion purchase.
You really need to ask Apple. Since it involves your iTunes account, support is online only but you can text real time with a support person.

Thanks Mike!
I'll contact Apple but do they actually reply?!? I was kinda hoping someone had the experience first hand...

Again, you have to do it through iTunes Support. You login through your iTunes account. At some point, you will have the option if interacting with a real person. It will be text only - there is no phone support here. Anyway, that person will be able to see your purchases. I don't know the outcome but you will be dealing with a real person at that point.claude wrote:Thanks Mike!

When I got my iPad and OS 10.7, I discovered that my iTunes account was way screwed up. It took one session to get me all straightened out.
