Soniccouture Konkrete Drums blowout.

Post by Gravity Jim »

Soniccouture's crazy street/industrial drum kits Konkrete 1and 2 are being discontinued as of tomorrow (10/16). They selling them at 60% off until then, which makes them about 23USD each. A dirt cheap way to add a bunch of buggin', trippin' percussion sounds to your bag.

Thanks for the reminder,I got their email & forgot about it.
So these are being discontinued? Not updated,I wonder why, they got great reviews.
Soniccouture is a wonderful company, went to order but can't get the correct discount to apply.
Kon1 & Kon2 $59x2 = 118 with the discount should be $47.20 if I'm calculating correctly but it keeps coming to a total of $82.
I sent them an email to clarify,I have a few of their libraries ,they make great products and I'd like to get this at the 60% discount.
Hopefully I'll hear back from them.

Got email reply, you need to buy As 2 separate transactions to get the full discount to apply.
This info was in the original email Soniccouture sent,I missed it.
Do they expect drummers to actually read emails? ;-)
Cheers!

Yep, I should have mentioned that.... it was only discounting ONE of the two when you had them in the cart together.

You probably noticed that both purchases qualify for a free instrument, too. I'm looking forward to using them.

I already have most of their freebies from prior sales.
Either way they make some great libraries & I'm going to buy them later.

In my email correspondence, the rep mentioned these libraries will actually be updated, not discontinued.
It will be interesting to see what the updates bring to the table.

I'm glad you posted this reminder ;-)

I bought them both last week during the sale. Be aware that you have to buy them separately, using the same coupon code, or else you only get a discount on one of them. Or at least that's what I remember a week later. :-) Anyway, of the two, the second volume seems more original to me and I can easily see it adding some interest to soundtrack, soundscape, and electronic tracks where a rhythmic groove or time-based pattern is desired but not via anything recognizable as drums (hard or soft).
