Can I use OMF in DP 46 that I created/saved in Cubase SX3?
If so, any warnings or heads up on working with OMF in DP 46?

1) DP to Cubase > working, auto missing
2) Cubase to DP> not working
3) Cubase to Cubase> working, auto missing
Comments:
1) file transfer is fine, auto is not ok. See point 3.
2) Upon import from SX 3.1 export, DP prompts a message saying the OMF contains audio data in a format that DP cannot read. I want to know more about this...
3) Since Cubase complies to the standard it is using, I cannot understand why upon import within the same app. automation is "present" but defaults to 0dB, which means it is lost/not recognised...
I get things to work with DP, PT and LP. Cubase is the only app. that is giving me trouble with OMF. This point and the fact that things don't seem to work properly within SX suggests there might be something wrong in the app. itself.
The best you can do is consolidate from start to end and export the files when working with this app. combo.

Recently I received 32 bit .WAV from a PC- based SX (or Nuendo? can't remember) Took a afternoon to find a way to convert it. (DP can't imort)Archer wrote:2) Upon import from SX 3.1 export, DP prompts a message saying the OMF contains audio data in a format that DP cannot read. I want to know more about this...
Maybe SX saves 32 bit audio to OMF, maybe there is an export option for 24 bit.
I don't own SX or a PC so I don't know exactly. If somebody does, please state.
