Is M-Audio Delta 1010 compatible to DP?

Post by drummerboy786 »

Hi guys,

Has anyone used the M-Audio Delta 1010 PCI Digital Audio System with DP. If so, which versions and how is it?
Here is link to this:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=h ... id/701340/

If someone has used this, please let me know which recording programs is it compatible to?
Thanks,

Zia

I don't see why it would not work with DP.

I have M-Audio's Audiophile 2496 PCI card and it works with DP, Cubase SX3, Metro etc etc.

You just have to be sure you install the correct driver for the OS X or 9.

And I use the Delta 44 PCI with DP - there are certainly drivers for the 1010 on M-Audio's website.

Its more a question of whether the 1010 works with your computer.....

i was using my delta 1010lt with DP4 for quite a while, when i realized that my powermac G4 had buzzing outputs, was very happy with it.

until i decided to upgrade to a G5. of course there was some complications that surfaced. did some research and realized that the older generation 1010s did not have the propoer PCI pin config (ibought mine in July 2004). changing it would cost me a bomb since i'm not in the US.

i sold my 1010 and went for the traveler.

there's an article on the maudio site saying that the 1010s will not work with certain G5s, one which they mentioned was the dual2.0GHz which incidentally is the one i'm having...

i'm glad i sold my maudio card. i liked it but with so much hassle with the apples? no thanks!
