Does an 828 Mk1 work with any CueMix
Just grabbed an original 828 for a backup interface but it seems to me I've been duped by my own enthusiasm. Does the 828 Mk1 work with any Cuemix software? I was hoping to just use it with a laptop as a mixer of sorts for three boards (two analog, one SPDIF audio) but so far I'm getting nothing out of it and Cuemix in different iterations sure seems to not see it. The Motu audio panel shows up and recognizes the 828 but so far, no SPDIF audio passes through (signal is present in LED) and not sure if I've made an interface mistake here. Any info appreciated. Q

No, Cuemix will not work with the 828mkI. The only way it will work is if you feed it ADAT into an 828mkII or later.
