I had a similar problem a few months back. I thought I was screwed because even my backups showed similar problems , meaning the corruption had been saved to each backup!!! Repairing permissions did nothing- neither did loading data from the original into a new file, dup chunks, dup file in finder, save as earlier version of DP and open, etc. Absolutely nothing worked. Oh me, oh my...

Solution:

(For OS Tiger)
DiskWarrior 3.03 followed by TechTool 4.05- both running off a separate boot drive and OS from the original OS that made the corruption. I don't know why, but they made it all better; meaning the files MAY have been corrupted, but so was the OS/disk in some way also. I try to run them in that sequence once a week.

I just recovered from an issue, where DiskWarrior would repeatedly repair some volume information, whenbooted into another Tiger and back...
iPartition solved it by running a full defrag on the Tiger volume having the issue with DW.
...
Maybe still something strange in Tiger ( 10.4.2 ) ?
Best
