How to keep "Quantize" and "Change Velocity" windows open..?
When editing MIDI information I have my "quantize" window open. Let's say I then open "change velocity". The quantize window automatically and unwantedly closes....Also happens vise versa.....Can I keep both windows open.....?

I don't know, but I can't imagine that being more convenient than using command keys to access each.

When doing a lot of MIDI editing, it's a hassle, even with key commands....

It looks like you can only have one of those windows opened at a time...
But at least you can keep either one always opened ready for action. Perhaps you can assign easy shortcuts, like one-stroke commands? I really can't think of a faster way to invoke them.
I never use consolidated windows, so I'm not sure, but have you tried using them to see if they will allow you to do what you want?

I've used these for so long they are second nature to me. I'm right handed and these are easy to access with my left hand:
q, Quantize
Opt-v, Velocity
Opt-d, Duration
Etc.
I also use Keypad Pro on my iPad to the left of my Mac keyboard to which I map many other DP commands. For the most part, this combination allows me to keep my right hand on the track ball ( mouse, trackpad, whatever) while the left invokes the commands I regularly use.
