Hi all,
plugged some hardware into my studio last night (long time softsynth user) and struggled to get Albeton to send a decent clock signal via the XT to allow arps to play / x0xb0x sequencer to play with decent timing.
Firstly the signal sent out was 4x too fast. I had to drop the tempo to 30bpm to achieve 120bpm, and the timing was all over the place.
I reset the XT to factory settings..still no decent results.
can anyone help?
Cheers

Re: sync issue MIDI express XT with Ableton 8
Hi,
I thought I would follow this up and after some further attempts and posts on ableton forum have come to this conclusion.
In ableton I started a fresh session with all in and out ports turned off.
I then turned on the track and sync port for my x0xb0x, pressed play on the ableton transport and all was good. good timing, correct tempo.
I then turned track and sync on for a second device port, and the x0x tempo doubled.
So I guess im getting clock sync fron any port to all ports.
The xt express was reset to factory settings.
Any pointers from XT experts much appretiated.
Cheers
