is the motu 2408mk1 and 324 pci card compatible with G5 2.5?
is pci x?

The PCI 324 card doesn't work on a G5.
You will need the PCI 424 card. (PCI 424 is not pci x).
With this card you can use any audio wire device from Motu, including the 2408mkI.
