upright bass sample/tuning issue

there is a good sounding acoust bass in the m5 library but it plays back horribly out of tune. no matter what i seem to try it just doesn't get better. it seems random # or b. any ideas?

did you check and make sure you didn't accidentally write any pitch bend data into your MIDI? i know it sounds stupid, but i've done it before with other samplers...just a thought!

So Sounds Good when your playing it in the sequencer,but sounds awfull in playback?

no. it's just randomly pitchy although consistent as to which notes go sharp or flat. is this inherent to the sample?
