Looking for the wisdom of the experienced here. I am running DP7 on a MacBook Pro 15, but am new to DP. My interest is in recording voice overs with the flexibility and features of DP.
I can't get DP to recognize my USB microphones plugged into my MacBook. I have tried this on Garage Band and Audacity and they both are able to record from the USB mic, but DP only gives me the option of the built-in mic.
There is clearly something I am missing in this process, but don't know where to begin. Your help is appreciated.

Check setup-configure audio system -configure hardware driver. Does the mic appear here? If so, click to highlight it and then ok to publish the inputs to the track I/O list.
