M5 3 issues with *.nki; and M5 3 VST not found in Sonar X1

Greetings
New MachFive 3.03 user in Windows 7 64-bit; all running fine, except for two issues:
- In Sonar X1, the MachFive.dll file is in the appropriate VST folder on my HD but does not 'show' in 'insert soft synth'-dialogue; a certain member (Sergio) had this issue, which he says resolved itself.....not the case here
- it is impossible to load any *.nki files in M5 stand-alone. Once program file has been located on HD it keeps displaying 'couldn't load the program (progam name).nki'
The manual specifies that such files are indeed recognized, so I am stumped as to why it doesn't work.....
Apologies if these are repeat questions (obviously, haven't found an answer....!), and guidance is appreciated, thank you.

Installed the M5 3 32-bit version as well.

- The M5 3 32-bit works in Sonar X1 as VST does that mean no 64-bit support (yet)?

(Incidentally, same applies for loading *.rx2 files....under 32-bit fine, seems no 64-bit support from either Propellerhead or MOTU, or both?)

- However, still cannot load *.nki patches or programs, in either 32- or 64-bit versions

M5 only supports nki files up to version 4.0
