Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I'm trying to figure this out for a gig tonight. I have an 828mk2 and a 4pre hooked via FW to a macbook running DP 5.13 on OS 10.5 and am trying to record 10 microphones plus a stereo mix into a single DP project, using the analog inputs on both interfaces via FW daisy chain. It is a choral/orchestral live concert recording requiring 10 mics, and I also want to record a live stereo mix from an outboard Mackie mixer. I do this all the time with the 8 analog inputs on the 828mk2, but can't figure out how to make DP recognize and record-enable enough inputs in one project. It seems I can either record through the 828mk2 OR the 4pre, but not both. I set the clock on the 4pre as slave to the 828mk2.
Thanks!
