Ok so I got everything working but its REALLY weird and I want to know if anyone has heard of this? heres the whole story (sorry if its long) I got PT 10 and installed it. After I installed it my Mbox mini2 stopped working and PT 10 was reading and using my motu 828, which was cool with me. But when I tried opening DP 7 it kept crashing after loading up. thats when I started another thread complaining that DP 7 was crashing. so after being on the phone for two days with MOTU (Who Went out of their way for me to help....awesome) and doing a whole lot of deleting and re installing I decided to just say SCREW IT! Im backing up and re installing Snow Leopard with a clean Install!!
I Reinstalled Snow Leopard, I had a clean Slate! so I installed DP 7 and I installed all the updates and to my surprise DP 7 was still Crashing!! WHAT??!! I decided to load up DP 7 while holding shift to shut off the audio driver and wouldn't you know it DP 7 Booted right up!! So purely because I had run out of options, I had a hunch. I remembered my Mbox mini stopped working and wouldn't even turn on before I wiped my hard drive, so I reinstalled My mbox mini audio driver and I uninstalled my Motu audio drivers, and DP 7 is working just fine now!!! can someone please tell me is it possible that when I installed PT 10 that it somehow corrupted DP 7 from reading it properly? I didn't think you could corrupt hardware, but then again I don't know a lot of things!!
REALLY REALLY WEIRD!!! Can anyone Help??!

Did you Repair Permission on your OSX drive?

You're not the only one having trouble with products that require Digi drivers:

I'll just say it - ditch the mBox, sell it for 10 bucks or toss it in the trash, and buy yourself a decent audio interface.I hear MOTU makes some good ones. Really.
I have seen more complaints about Digi drivers and interfaces than any other product line over the last ten years. Avid's tech
support is basically zilch, unless you want to pay 80 bucks per phone call
to talk to them, and even then it's unlikely you'll get them right away.
And PT10 - you know, there has just been a release of an update to PT 9.
Frankly I doubt PT10 was ready for prime-time when it was released and I
still think it isn't.
