I am trying to tap tempo while monitoring a single audio track. I record-enable the conductor track and have tap tempo set to have 4 count-off taps.
The problem I have is that when I start tapping tempo, and the sequence starts to play, the audio track sometimes takes several seconds to come on. I.e., the audio track is positioned on measure 1, beat 1, and the sequence clock is running and everything appears to be working, but there is an varying amount of time before audio track begins to make sound. When it does, it is in the right place. It's just that I'm wanting to hear it so I can properly tap the tempo.
Is this a known issue? Is there a setting I should adjust?
Thanks!
