Go to MOTU's site to download the new driver installer. Disregard what their website says. My topic title here is the actual new version number posted and currently available by them.

Installed and well here on The Traveler.

Driver date: 11/9/2011

Thanks for the heads up. Working well with my 828mk2, not tried it with the pci-424s yet.

I really, really wish that MOTU would include a change log with their drivers.

I'm going to take a stab at it tonight. I have to agree, knowing what's changed/improved/fixed would be a load off my mind and incentive to keep upgrading.

I haven't updated any MOTU drivers in over a year. I'm kind of afraid to at this point since I'm not having any problems. Any benefits for PCI 424 owners?

Well, the last couple of releases have included some of the CueMix FX tools for the PCI-424 based gear, the most useful of which is the Guitar tuner.

I have installed these drivers and they seem as stable as any of the earlier drivers to me.
