I realise there is no native linux support for MOTU hardware, but I'm curious if anybody here has any experience getting a MTPAV USB working in linux. I have an open thread on the ALSA mailing list on this as well as over at linuxmusicians.com and have had success before with the parallel MTPAV in Linux but none yet with the USB version. Sadly I sold my parallel MIDI express XT and my parallel MTPAV to buy the USB MTPAV. I also own an old parallel PC flyer 2x4.
Please forgive me for cross posting this message to both the Windows and Mac forums. I want to stick with Motu rather than buying anything m-audio just to get linux support, so it's actually out of Motu loyalty that I'm asking this here.
Thanks!
Rob
