Hi all,
this seems to be a topic of contention but I am hoping for some help from the knowledge base of Motunation.
I have a PC with a an Asus P5KE motherboard and a PCI 324 Card, with XP as the OS.
I installed the software, then installed the card and windows will not recognise what the PCI card is , and when I try to update the driver, or install the new hardware it doe not recognise the location of the driver , even though I can see the driver using explorer.
I would really like to get this card working.
Let me know your thoughts.
Greg

Re: PCI 324 and an Asus P5KE MB
To be honest, trying to get a 324 working on any modern multi-core machine is likely to fail. Motu hasn't supported these cards for a long time. They have a tech-note on their site that says as much. I have seen a number of similar posts in recent years and the answer is to upgrade to a PCIe-424 or PCIX-424 card.
